Answer 1

To kill creatures that eat them, or try to eat them. Even of the scorpion is eaten, the predator also dies or gets pretty sick. Eventually, predators have learned not to mess around with scorpions, thus keeping the population scorpions intact and breeding more scorpions.

Answer 2

Venom is what they have. Venom is injeCted, Poison is injeSted, hence "Antivenom" or more correctly "Antivenin". Ever heard of "Antipoison"? Me neither. Just one letter different makes them edible. YUM haha .Actually nice deep fried but yukky raw.

As a general rule, small nipper scorpions use strong venom in their tail as their weapon, while most large nipper scorpions use their pincers because their venom is weaker. So, if you see a small nipper scorpion, rest assured, it packs a big punch at the other end.

Scorpions are harmful because they are venomous. In some species the venom is dangerous enough to make someone sick or die. Most scorpion venom will just cause swelling and be painful.
