They will not, but some people like to claim that Call of Duty World at War is Call of Duty 5 because it was released after Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare. So was Call of Duty World at War Final Fronts for the PS2 and what about the Modern Warfare reflex Edition for the Nintendo Wii it was released about the time Modern Warfare 2 was released. Even though there was never a Call of Duty 5 some people are asking about Call of Duty 8 and saying it is Call of Duty Black ops.

With COD 6 you get 3 new titles Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 plus the Nintendo Games Call of Duty Modern Warfare Mobilized and Call of Duty Black Ops all released November 2009 When Call of Duty Black Ops was released in November 2010 some people have still called it COD 7 Then Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 to be released in November 2011 has already been called COD 8. So COD 9 will be November 2012 and I imagine people will also start calling it Black Ops 2 sometime soon.
