They form due to condensation. The cool temperature of the class causes the adjacent air molecules to fall below Dew Point, resulting in the the air condensing from a gas to a liquid form.

Why does a glass tumbler containing ice-cool drink show droplets of water on its outer surface?

As the liquid inside the glass tumbler is cold it condenses the water vapour in the atmosphere. This explains why tiny droplets of water are found on the outer surface of the glass tumbler.

Why do water droplets from outside of a glass of water?

If warm moist air comes into contact with the cold outer surface of a glass of water, condensation takes place.

Why does the outside of a glass of iced tea some times get moist?

The cold glass cools the air surrounding the glass. This in turn condenses water vapor in the air such that little water droplets form around the surface of the glass. These droplets are what you recognize as being moist :)

Why there is water droplets forming on mirror when blown?

The hot heat from the hot water turns evaporates. Once it reaches or touches a cool surface (mirror), the heat would condense and turn into water droplets. Therefore, water droplets are found in the mirror when you bath.

Why do we make fog by breathing on the window in the winter?

Water vapor in your breath condenses as tiny droplets of liquid water on the cold glass surface.

Why do you see water droplets on outer surface of glass containing ice-cold water?

This is because the air around the tumbler contains water vapour in it. When these water vapour came in contact with the cold, they contact with cold water, loses energy and converted into liquid state, which we see as water droplets.

Why do water droplets form on the outside of a glass of water?

This is called "condensation" on a glass, and "dew" if it occurs on grass / leaves. When the "dew point" of air is above the temperature of the surface of the glass, condensation will occur as humidity from the air releases heat into the glass and changes state from gas to liquid.

Why do droplets of water form on the outside of a glass cup?

this is called condensation in the water cycle it forms water droplet because when the liquid turns into gas the particles move and when they spread apart and float away some get stuck on the sides of the glass cup. Then with enough of the gas particles come together turning it into droplets and goes back into water to do it all over again.

Why do you see water droplets on the surface of glass containing water?

because its condensation. Heat evaporates the water and the cold surfaces condense the vapour back to liquid.

What do the water droplets on a glass indicate about the temperatures inside and outside the terrarium?

the water droplets indicate that the air is cooler on one side of the glass. If the droplets are inside, then the outside is cooler. If the droplets are outside, it means the inside is cooler.

Why do water droplets always form one huge drop on a penny?

Surface tension of water draws it into a larger drop. It will do that on any nonporous surface- metal, glass, smooth plastic, etc.

How is water droplets formed in the inner most surface of the beaker?

when the hot water in the beaker touches the cool surface of the beaker, the water condenses into water droplets.
