If you are using your personal auto in the course of business/in the course of employment, then you need to contact your insurance company. The reason for this is that the vehicle usage is CHANGED now, so the parameters they used to extend the offer of policy to you have now changed. Additonal concerns would arise if you were to injure someone while driving your own vehicle, but at the direction of and in the interest of your employer. The reimbursement for mileage has nothing to do with your insurance coverage. Mileage reimbursement is primarily intended to partially 'reimburse' you for wear and tear on your vehicle. Your company also most likely reimburses you for gas usage or provides a credit card designated specifically for gasoline purchases. Additionally, it is highly likely that your employer's umbrella policy does not cover your personal auto. The carrier for their umbrella policy is not interested in managing coverage on a potential fleet of vehicles not owned by the employer, which is exactly what they would be doing. The umbrella policy is likely in force for other types of injury/damages to others, caused by the company's activities.
About 11 miles per gallon.
1000 km per litre tats the correct milelage
it depends. the only way you can answer that question is to ask the person whom you are buying it from. a car can get any amount of mileage on it no matter what it is. its all in the maintaince and care of the car's owner
fuel energizer is special design of magnets around a fuel pipe just before carburettor or fuel injector which will ionize the fuel to get the positive charge on it to get adhere to oxygen to burn completely and increase the milelage of your vehicle
The distance for this trip seems like it would be about 310 miles. Hope this was helpful, I have made this trip several times. The milelage will vary depending on the specific part of Baltimore that you are traveling too. DC traffic will also affect the total time. Ho
Cummins motors are traditionally a nuisance to work on, but the 8.3 litre is a pretty solid motor. IIRC, the 1991 model year motors were all mechanical, rather than electronic. Your fuel mileage won't be particularly impressive... you can expect three to five miles per gallon.
Drive it nice, proper alignment and tire pressure will be a big help and the cheapest. If you still want a little better a cold air intake and a no back flow exhaust will help, then a good diesel shop can adjust the fuel pump and install some injectors that can help milelage, but you still need to drive it nice. A gear vendor isn't the cheepest but will probably deliver the best mileage gains. There are also hybrid fuel systems that use natural gas along with the diesel to get substantial mileage gains.
