There is a line on the overflow container to which it should not be overfilled. Otherwise it will push fluid out.
You need to have your coolant tank with the proper amount of antifreeze and water filled to spec. at all times ,hope you haven't over heated the motor
Place a drip pan beneath the transmission of your 1997 Monte Carlo. Remove the transmission fluid plug. Allow the transmission fluid to drain out. Replace the transmission plug to its original position. Fill the transmission with fluid.
DOT 3 brake fluid as listed on the master cylinder fill cap.
on top of engine in front of throttlebody/intake manifold and directly behing oil fill cap
Drain about 1 gallon of coolant from radiator Foolow upper radiator hose to engine - should connect to a removable housing Remove this housing Observe how thermostat is installed in housing Clean both surfaces Install new thermostat and gasket Re-fill coolant Slowly to preven an "airlock" Start engine and watch for leaks Run engine up to normal operating temperature with heater on Check coolant level
Is loose fill a type of insulation?
Is loose fill a type of insulation?
I believe that you fill it with coolant, as the tank's name suggests.
The amount of coolant it will take to fill your vehicle is dependent upon how low the coolant level is. You can add coolant to your coolant reservoir. The reservoir will have an indicator of when the coolant system is full.
No , on my coolant reservoir there is a cold fill mark . When the engine is cold the coolant level is supposed to be up to the mark . When the engine is warmed up the coolant level is higher
The coolant goes into the overflow bottle on the passenger side, fill it cold and do not over fill.
Coolant goes in the radiator or you can also fill the radiator resevoir.
