God, our Lord and Savior, tells us to SUBDUE the earth. we must obey Him in all that we do. If we understand and know the truth about our world than we can better understand God and we can better care for our world.

There are three parts of English. two are listed here. also listed here is why we study each.

-Grammar- is the study of the structure of language. Why study it? We see that God is a God of order, an organized God.

-Usage- is the study of the correct or proper way to use language. Why study it? As God's representatives, we must bring His Word clearly and correctly. We don't want to offend others or God. We also study usage because our language is such and incredible gift from God, we must show our appreciation by using it responsibly.

Genesis 1:28 "Then God blessed them and said to them, 'Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that crawls on the earth.'"

You can know this God, too. God sent His only begotten son from heaven to earth in the form of a man. He suffered and died on the cross just for all of our sins so that we may have eternal life. For more information, at a local library find, in the reference section (i think) a book called the Holy Bible. That is the greatest book of all.

One more thing. in that book, believe every word of it. It is the inspired Word of God. It is all true.
