I have a hypothesis about this, but I have no idea how to test it. I wonder if, before the bowel movement, you are tensing up your muscles to "hold it in," whereas afterward your muscles are more relaxed, so you are more "dead weight" as you stand on the scale.

I have been researching the problem of extreme tiredness after a bowel movement and have come across this thread: http://forums.wrongdiagnosis.com/showthread.php?t=55520 which seems to indicate that a damaged nerve causing lower Back pain can lead to extreme fatigue after a bowel movement. The evidence is anecdotal, but to my eyes is strong.

You don't. You weigh less.

Answer2:

This occurrence is fairly common in people, it happens because of what you do before you go to the bathroom. If you eat or drink anything, then go to the bathroom, then weigh yourself you'll see an increase in weight due to having something else in your body. Remember a human can hold 8 to 10 pounds of waste in their bodies at any one time so you never really get rid of all of it. Your scale should have been zeroed out and have fresh batteries at all times if it is digital. Typically the 'increase' is a scale malfunction as you should lose weight each time you poop.

A person will often feel hungry after having a bowel movement because their stomach has been emptied. This is common in people with Crohn's.
