Clarisse disappears from the story early on, in Part 1 of Fahrenheit 451. Her sudden absence prompts Montag to question the society he lives in and eventually leads to his awakening to the oppressive nature of the world around him. The specific page number can vary depending on the edition of the book.

If u read further in the book you'll realize that their type of schooling is not helping kids learn anything instead its brainwashing them. They mostly watch TV at school and Clarisse likes to think on her own.

It is stated later in the novel by Mildred (Montag's wife) that she died, I believe it says she was in a car accident. Since Mildred tells Montag she is not really sure of what happened, she frankly dons't care and doesn't see why he should either. She tells him that Clarisse's family then moved away from the neighborhood. This became a catalyst for Montag to get moving in his quest for knowledge because she was his inspiration to really think and challenge the world he lived in and then was killed by the cars she had been ranting about.
