It doesn't. Charon is much too far away to be influenced by Earth's gravity. Charon is gravitationally bound to Pluto, but technically does not orbit it. Because Charon is fairly massive compared to Pluto the two object orbit around their common center of mass, which lies outside of Pluto.

Yes, the dwarf planet Pluto has five moons down to a detection limit of about 1 km in diameter. In order of distance from Pluto, they are:CharonStyxNixKerberosHydraCharon, the largest of the five moons, is mutually tidally locked with Pluto, and is massive enough that Pluto-Charon is sometimes considered a double dwarf planet.
Pluto's most interesting moon is known as Charon. The moon is so big which makes Pluto to be referred as a dwarf planet.
Pluto actually has 3 moons named Charon, Nix, and Hydra. Nix and Hydra were found on June 14, 2006. Charon was found on June 22, 1978.

Pluto has three natural satelites.Nix,Hydra, and Charon are Plutos moons.
Pluto's moon Charon
Yes. Charon, Plutos largest moon, is about 1200km in diameter, while Plutos diameter is around 2322km, so Plutos diameter is about twice the size. In terms of volume though, Pluto is around 7.4 times as big.
Pluto has 3 known moons (as of 2011) Pluto's largest moon is Charon. The smaller moons are Nix and Hydra.
Pluto (and Charon) is still orbiting Sol, and most likely will orbit Sol until either Sol or Pluto-Charon is destroyed.
