If people feel that a question has not been asked to their best, some people would report or flag the question for it to be put as a flagged question so that it can be improved upon, feel free to contact another contributor in hopes that he or she could improve it, I'm sure there is someone that could help improve the answer the way you want it.
The questions on WikiAnswers are not answered instantaneously; nobody is that good. The most common problem is that you haven't written the question properly e.g. bad spelling or grammar (as this question itself demonstrates).
A lot of them.
WikiAnswers is not a quiz site. We are a question and answer website.
Because the Wikianswers crew are busy everyday, they receive loads of question in one day, which means they need a few days to answer your question.
Questions that are asked never get deleted, unless it is against the rules of WikiAnswers. The question is permanently logged into the WikiAnswers databased, and never goes away.
Currently - the oldest question in the 'Questions about WikiAnswers' section is How did Microsoft impact WikiAnswers- posted on 25th May 2007.
Search your question, and click the link to your question. Oh, I guess then you'll never find the answer to this question :)
That would be our semi-automated friend --- MooBot
Site supervisors feature questions on WikiAnswers. When there is a well written, easily understandable, never answered before question it has a chance to be featured on our main page. To get a question featured send your question to a site supervisor and ask them if they believe it could be featured.
Your question at wikianswers might never have been answered because of the following: 1. It is not clear- you have to specify more 2. It is non-understandable 3. It is harmless/nonesense
WikiAnswers is a collaboration by people willing to share knowledge. Many contributers are college/university educated; many are enthusiasts in certain fields; many are just trying to be helpful. As a website, WikiAnswers does not "know" something, but either links a question to a previous answer or places the question out for people to read and, hopefully, answer properly. Does this help?
because wikianswers is a place where people around the world answer questions and they might not know the answer to the question or it's never been asked before.
