A bracket shaped fruiting body is a convenient shape for fungi that grow on logs. The goal of the mushroom/fruiting body is to allow spores to disperse. A puff ball can "puff" out spores when a rain drop hits it. Some fungi are adapted for spores to be dispersed by wind or animals. Those species that fruit on logs require their spores to be released from the "spore surface", fall, and be carried away by the wind. The bracket shape allows for the spore surface to be facing downward to take advantage of gravity when the spores are ready to fall out.
The log is a substrate, just like soil or old bread, that the fungus uses as a food source.
because algae now is a fungus that grow on TOP of polluted water and does not have any stalks
Well, to understand that, first you have to understand the forest floor. In this case I'm referring to a rainforest. The forest floor only gets 2% sunlight out of all that good stuff up top, so naturally only certain plants can grow here. The plants usually only grow around river banks and swampy areas. Because of this, there is a lot of plant (and animal) decay. So this is where your fungus comes in. It actually helps to decay the plants and animals, and it also helps to clean them up, by "eating" them. Hope this helps!
No...the top layer of skin is constantly shed and replaced by new layers, albeit very slowly. There are also a lot of oils and bacteria on the skin surface meant specifically for preventing fungus/infections etc. from developing on us.
top soil
In moss, where the sporophyte grows directly out of the top of the gametophyte.

fungus layer on the top of the juice
they had grass on the top and wood logs on the bottom
follow the top radiator hose from the radiator to the top of the engine. the bracket (for lack of a better term, I'm not sure what the technical word for it is) that the radiator hose is connected to on the top of the engine is the thermostat's location. it's located under that bracket. two bolts hold that bracket on.
you have to remove the bracket that goes over the top of the battery then its just a matter of unbolting the hold down bracket and the cables
How do you imagine ANY plant can grow from top to bottom
what is the year make & modle of the motor your working on?
under the top hose mounting bracket
you will find a bolt at top alternator connecting it to the bracket arm loosen it a little. you will find another bolt parallel with the bracket tighten it to pull the slack out of belt. tighten the bolt connecting alternator to bracket
Really any type of fungus or bacteria. for example mushrooms and worms are decomposers.
