John Aycliffe and his soldiers are on "high alert" to find Crispin and Bear.
Crispin fears they have been trapped because they see the executioner's cart parked outside the inn where they are staying. He worries that they are being set up to be captured and executed.
Trapped
At the end of the book, Crispin shows courage by confronting Aycliffe, his former master, to seek justice for the injustices he suffered. Despite his fear, Crispin stands up for himself and refuses to let Aycliffe continue to control his life. In doing so, Crispin demonstrates bravery and determination to live a free and honorable life.
The only thing that bears fear are humans.
The mouse was trembling with fear when the cat trapped him in a corner.

There is no specific phobia for cages. However, agoraphobia is a fear of being trapped somewhere with no easy means of escape.
strength ,fear,ignorance ......
Unfortunately, wether they know it or not, it is because of fear. Not fearful of you physically but fear of all the emotions that might come out of them. Fear can cause many, many problems and unfortunately sons and daughters get trapped by their fear.
The first dead man, who Crispin believes is his father, fills him with grief and a sense of loss. The second dead man, who is the steward who falsely accused him, brings a mix of relief and fear as it confirms his suspicions about the corruption in the village.
It might attack and fatally harm you.
Virgil said that.
