Valves under the sink NO WORK HUH?
Yes, remove your old shower valve and fit a new Moen anti-scald valve. This will not change when other items are turned on.
It should have both. Verify that it has two lines to the faucet. If it does, check to see if the stop valve under the sink has been turned off. It may have been leaking and turned off instead of being repaired.
The water valve under the sink is turned off or has gone bad. It is possible that there is a blockage in the faucet itself. I'd start by ensuring that the water valve is turned off, and take the faucet apart and look for anything out of the ordinary.
The valve is not be diverting all the water. This valve may need to be replaced.
If the valve is a multi turn valve, it is because the valve seat is no longer good. Replace the valve. It it is a quarter turn valve, it is because the mechanism that turns the ball is no good and the valve does not turn completely shut. once again, replace the valve.
Appliance service valve
The most likely reason is that the hot water valve is turned off in the bathrooms. Look under the bathroom sink. There should be two valves - the one on the right controls the flow of cold water and the one on the left controls the flow of hot water. Turn the hot water valve counter-clockwise to open.
A solenoid valve is a valve controlled by an electrical coil. A spring keeps the valve closed. When power is turned on to the coil, a plunger is pulled, opening the valve.
With the water main shut of valve of course
Yes! I do belive it dose.
Still under warranty. Take it to the dealer.
The hot water supply valve you turned off to allow you to cut into the hot water pipe is still turned off. This valve was probably an old gat typr valve that failed in the closed position and although the handle moved the mechanism insid did not. This is a common failure with that type of valve.
