The light is absorbed at a specific wavelength and this is because the electrons in the chemical bonds only absorb certain wavelengths of light. So, more concentration, more bonds and more electrons to absorb the light.

As concentration increases the number of solvated molecules increases. Absobance occurs when a molecule of solute is struck by a photon and is absorbed. By having more molecules confined in the same amount of volume, the chance a molecule is struck by a photon increases. Therefore increasing the solutions concentration will certainly increase absorbance.

I think you meant, "absorbance increases when concentration increases". And that is so, because the more particles you have in a solution, the more they will absorb.

If a solution is diluted will the absorbance decrease or increase?

decrease

How can you change concentration?

To increase the concentration of a solution, you can decrease the amount of solvent by boiling off, or by evaporation, or you can simply add more solute. Conversely, to decrease the concentration, you can add more solvent.

What are some ways the density of a substance can be increased and decreased?

The increase in concentration increases the density and decrease causes the decrease in density.

Can the concentration of a substance change if it is an aqueous solution?

Yes. An aqueous solution means that at least one solute is dissolved in water. You can increase the concentration by adding more solute, or you can decrease the concentration by adding more water.

How does the molar absorptivity depend upon the concentration mole per L of the dissolved solute?

Molar absorptivity is completely independent of concentration of a substance as Molar absorptivity is represented by epsilon and is a constant. Absorbance of light is what is dependent upon concentration and will go down as concentration goes down and increase as concentration increases.

How does the speed of atoms in a substance related to its temperature?

If there is an increase in the temperature of a substance, that indicates the increase in vibration and speed of the particles. If there is a decrease in the temperature of a substance, that indicates the decrease in vibration and speed of the particles.

How can pressure be increased or decreased?

Increase pressure: decrease volume, increase temperature, increase moles of substance. Decrease pressure: do the reverse

How does temperature affect the volume of substance?

An increase in temperature will cause an increase in volume, while a decrease in temperature will cause a decrease in volume.

Insulin causes a a decrease in the concentration of blood glucose b an increase in the concentration of blood glucose?

A. A decrease in glucose. Unless your body is as strange as mine. I'm trying to figure out why my glucose increases when I increase my insulin.
