the only things linked to the cig. lighter fuse for 1980 thru 98 are door mirrors and radio so the check engine light is probably indicating a non related problem and is purely coincidental. there may be another problem go to auto zone or another parts store and have the codes read free.
where is the fuse for the cigatette lighter
where are the fuses located on a 2008 Nissan altima the outlets and cigarette lighter don't work
under dish board
under the panel near the pedels
YES
The fuse is located behind a panel located above the hood release. It is called "socket" on the diagram on the panel. I noted, from the Owner's Manual, that the "cigarette lighter" is actually a 12 V outlet, really not intended for a cigarette lighter.
you can find a fuse box under your steering. The cigarette lighter fuse is in the third column and 3rd row. in 99 missan altima.
If the cigarette lighter would normally work without turning on the ignition, yes.
no they are to big
The 1995 Nissan Montero cigarette lighter fuse will be in the second column, fourth from the bottom, of your fuse box. The fuse box can be found beneath the drivers side dashboard.
The fuse box panel typically identifies the fuses on the back side (my '01 Max has a sticker on the backside of the panel that shows which fuse is for the lighter).Another suggestion:On a 2008 Nissan Altima, the blown cigarette lighter fuse was located in the driver side panel labeled SOCKET- 15 amps.
yes there is for the ac it needs a 7.5 and for the cig it needs a 15.
