Wow that is a problem NO flame normally means your not going to get any hot water HUH?Did you call a professional to1- Check to make sure the thermo couple is good2 - Have the gas valve checked3- Flame tube cleaned4-Aquastat replaced5- Proper SET temperature
you have a question that can have many different answers . here is a list I would check first to your problem.
1. is your pilot light out or if a forced air WH is it plugged in with power to it?
2. Is your gas line on or do you have gas to your water heater?
3. look up your water heater manual guide and go through the trouble shoot guide list because the rest of the problems are so different from so many different kinds of water heaters and not knowing what kind of water heater you have it is impossible to answer.
Possibly because you are just using the hot water too much, or possibly because your tank has a problem keeping lit. -If you have to frequently re-light the pilot, you need a new 'thermocouple' .
Gas valve not set to pilot Bad thermo couple Bad gas valve Dirty orifice
Have you checked if the pilot light is on. If it is not, you will have to re-light it . Instructions near the regulator unit.
It depends on if it's a gas water heater or electric. I don't think electric makes any noise, but a gas water heater, you'll the gas ignite, and hear the rushing gas from the burner.
Gas heater & electric heater both are available.
Yes, your gas water heater will still distribute hot water.
Side of water heater, near bottom.
You cant
thermopile
no
instant gas
It converts cold water to hot water.
At current gas prices they cost less to use and a gas heater gives you a much greater supply of hot water on demand.
Gas not turned on to water heater. Gas valve on water heater not set to pilot setting. Faulty gas valve. Igniter for lighting pilot not working.
