Though I know that some of my friends become very shy and even if they did like him in return, would probably ignore their feelings because they are too embarassed to say anything. Really I think that it depends on personality... If she hasn't said that she likes the person in return then she probably doesn't like them in return... Maybe just ask if she likes you?
