I had the same issue with mine, it has auto climate control. Essentially the blower motor is not being told to turn off. The climate controls run through the PCM (power control module under the hood) which tells the blower motor to turn on and off and what speed to blow and where. Fix is expensive, so on mine i used a 30amp automotive relay to turn on and off the blower utilizing the 30 amp fuse in the drivers side dash. If you know how to use a relay, heres how to wire it.. pin 87a goes to one side of the fuse terminal, pin 30 goes to the other, so these two wires replace the fuse, pin 85 goes to switched power (accesory wire at ignition harness is black and orange 12 ga. wire) and pin 86 goes to one side of a 2 pin switch and the other wire from the switch goes to ground. I used a round 7/8" switch I mounted directly above the trunk release button under the drivers dash... Hope this helps.
It may be due to the control head needing replaced
A fuse blows when there is a short circuit or an overload in the circuit.
I have a 2000 Chrysler cirrus it only blows cold air on the heat cycle. can someone help me as to why this is happening?
check your freon level. you might need to fill it back up. also your thermostat might be going out. does it ever over heat?
the heater blows warm air when fan is on low but blows cold air when fan is turn to higher setting
If it blows while driving, I would replace the fuel pump. If it blows when trying to start, I would replace the starter.
Possible answerYou might try disconnecting the battery completely. Leave it for about 20 minutes then reconnect it. This should reset the climate control. We did it with ours after a mechanic suggested it. Hope this helps. I have a 93 Concorde with the same prob. I am currently looking to purchase a new(used on eBay?) climate control module, which should correct the prob.
The fuse blows because the current through it exceeds the rated current limit of the fuse.
The central locking fuse on a Chrysler Grand Voyager is in the fuse box under the bonnet, but strangely enough it's labelled 'fuel heater'. Mine regularly blows!
check you thermostat for the temp setting
If it blows when trying to crank the engine, the starter is probably the failure.
it could be your fan motor is going to go
