Employers do hire job seekers. I think it probably just feels that way because employers often have many, many applicants for only one position, so a lot of people feel passed over when they are actively searching for a job.

- they do nt apply for a job
- they are suitable due to education, experience, age or personality
- there are better applicants
- they will not accept the pay or location of the new job
- they have a poor report from previous employers
