Why don't the tail lightswork on a 1985 Honda Accord if the brake lights and the back up and the turn signals work and the fuse is not blown?

There should be a switch located on the shaft that the brake pedal is attached to. Check the wiring and listen for a click when the brake is depressed. If everything seems okay, use a wire to jump across the two contacts and see if the brake lights go on. If this fails, then you have a broken wire somewhere in your brake light circuit. Good luck.

I took it to DOBBS and they checked it and said the fuses are good. They advised to take it to the Honda Dealer.
I dont know what else could be wrong. im having the same problem but check the switch

Before you worry about your fuse, i would check your doorpin! open all of the doors one by one and push the door pin all of the way in....sometimes you need to adjust the door latch
