They were then known simply as "Bible Students" but they would not Heil Hitler nor would they serve in his armed forces. Because of this, they are considered the only group who had a choice on whether or not they were sent to concentration camps. The far majority of them who were caught refused to sign the document dismissing their beliefs and were imprisoned in the camps because of it.
