Water will freeze at 0 degrees celcius. A typical refrigerator will be set to about 4 degrees.
It took about 5 hours to get the 1st cubes
Depends on the manufacturer. My GE fridge creates 6 ice cubes every 55 minutes.
buy how they are formed
Bubbles of air dissolved in the water.
I would say the glass of coke (served with ice-cubes in it) is colder than the can. The melting ice-cubes in the glass of coke hold it at constant freezing/melting temperature (32F), the can of coke comes out of the refrigerator at the same temperature as the refrigerator (~35F) and warms from there.
Why turn them into plain clear ice cubes when u can have colorful ice cubes? colorful ice cubes are awesome
the mass does not change only the shape
Because of condensation formed by the cold of the ice and metal meeting with the warmth of the water.
Put the water into the refrigerator. Or add some ice cubes to it.
They do have ice cubes in Germany.
The ice cubes will sink.
In the machine the ice forms around pins on a rack. When the ice is formed the rack is automatically turned over. The pins are slightly heated and the cubes fall off into the bucket from which they are dispensed. So the hole is where the pin was.
