Jesus is important to Christians because He is our LORD.

The Bible says that the Word (Jesus) was with God in the Beginning and that the Word (Jesus) was God. All things were made by Him (Jesus) and without Him (Jesus) nothing was made (John 1:1-3). So He is the Creator.

The Bible says that Jesus was sent by God because of His great love for the world, to live the perfect life and die for for the world that those who would believe in Jesus would have eternal life (John 3:16). So He is our Savior.

The Bible says the Jesus will come again to the earth with power and great glory to judge the world with righteousness and reign as of King of kings (Revelation 19::11-16) So He is our soon coming King.

That makes Jesus Very Important to Christians and to the world as well.
Jesus is important to us as he died for the sins of the world, and as he arose from the dead we to will arise in glory to live eternal lives in heaven. As we will have salvation.

Jesus is soooo important to Christians!!! He died on a cross for our sins! For everyone's sins. Instead of us dying for our sins. He died for us! Jesus is God's son! God loved the world soo much that He sent His son Jesus Christ to come to Earth and die as a man for our sins. That's how much He loves us. He wants you to love Him too. Because He created you. Even though we cuss at God and Jesus He still loves YOU, and that's why He sent His son, Jesus to die on a piece of wood, for YOU. So you didn't have to die when he came back to Earth to judge us all. If you are not a believer in God you will go to H E double hockysticks. And if you are a Christian than you are going to heaven. If Jesus didn't come to Earth, no one would have a second chance to believe in Him and get to go to Heaven. We would ALL go to H E DOUBLE hockysticks. That's why I am a Christian, see you in Heaven!

Well, I'm really glad that you asked!! This is honestly my opinion.

The only way to get to heaven is through Jesus Christ, right? That makes it important to christians , because he is the most commonly mentioned one in the bible and because he is 3 in one. that also means he has three different forms and is God!!! There's your answer!!

Answer:

The founder of religion is generally important to that religion (and no others). Jesus for Christians and Buddha for Buddhists (two eponymous religions - named after the founder), Brigham Young to Mormons. L Ron Hubbard to Scientology, and Haile Selassie I of Ethiopia to Rastafarians. Some religions are name after their deity (Pastafarians after the great Spaghetti Monster) and some after their beliefs.

He is what Christianity is about. Not only is he the son of God, but what he did on the cross allows us to enter heaven without having to give up our most favored possession with every wrong doing. Without him Christians would have no hope, and that's why he is so important. The answer is in the question. Christ, Christian. It means one who follows Christ, believes in him, his doctrine, what he did, what he stands for and to be more like him.

They believe that he is the Messiah, even though the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob say he isn't which is whom the covenant belongs to. It's kind of like if McDonalds is saying that they are going to release a burger, and the customers are saying that a particular burger is the one they were talking about, but McDonalds is saying that it isn't.
