Our Blessed Mother, Mary is full of grace for many reasons. Of all humans after the Fall from grace of Adam and Eve, Mary alone was the only person born without the stain of original sin. This was allowed byGod Almighty in preparation for choosing her to be the Mother of Jesus, Mary still had a choice when the angel appeared to her at the Annunciation, and then she agrred to accept to be the woman that would become the Mother of the Living God. Again she was filled with grace as the shadow of the Holy Spirit came over her to plant the seed that would become Jesus. Next came the acceptance of Joseph in faith and obedience to be her spouse, the earthly"Father" of Jesus and protector of Mary and Jesus. Mary lived by faith her whole life, and faith is a given grace, not an intellectual choice. She was the Mother, but was taught by her Son. Her final grace while still on this earth was the Assumption.Rather than the cold of the grave, she was assumed into Heaven, there to be crowned Queen of Heaven. We also believe Mary to be "ever Vigin" Spotless before birth and pure for all eternity

She is called 'Blessed' because God chose her to be the mother of His son, Jesus. She is called "Virgin' because she remained chaste before, during and after the birth of Christ.

We call Mary our blessed Mother because she is the Mother of Jesus, therefore the Mother of God. Also, while Jesus was on the cross, Jesus gave Mary to the people of the world to have as their mother.
