Why is it that in any of the previous seasons Kate never spoke about the paparizzi but now in season 5 she does?

Public Relations, promotion and money. The paparazzi have to sell their photographs to magazines and news outlets. They take pictures of whatever will sell.
And the scandal of having paparazzi follow the Gosselins is good for ratings.
well i think its because they have gotten so popular! and now wherever they go paparizzi follow them.i don't think kate wants her kids having to deal with them. when they where first starting out that didn't really happen and its the paparizzi that is spreading rumors some of it may be true and some of its not no one nos except Jo and kate.....
