There not all in the same place. Like the places next to the equator are hotter than the ones next to the poles.

∙ 14y agoTwo reasons I can think of are 1) the polar regions have thinner ozone layers these days and 2) higher latitudes in each hemisphere have more atmosphere to block radiation because the sun is lower in the sky and has to travel through more atmosphere. The highest radiation therefore hits the areas closer to the equator.
