My dog has the same thing (i think) you should see if its folliculitis is there small bumps like acne or not. try this website if it does

∙ 14y agoYes this is perfectly normal. Your dog may be malting. i am not sure when exactly they start, but my dog has done this. if it starts to lose a lot of hair you should consult a vet.
