Yes it would appear she is as she has said that this season, season 6, would be her last in a few interviews earlier this year. She was to have her episodes reduced to recurring status for this season but in late June it was announced that she closed a deal to be in the majority of episodes this season. Hope this helps. ~J
They gave her the choice to take a pay cut and appear in a reduced number of episodes or leave. She chose to leave.
They are trying to get rid of women on the show and make it have strong male leads. I'm not happy about it.
She is no longer a series regular, but that does not mean she has left the show entirely.
Somewhere around the season 7 finale and season 8 premiere.
She quit to pursue other things, she may return for the season finally.
Paget Brewster returned to the show for a special 200th episode but will not be staying as a regular character on the show.

In a previous episode, (4-18) "Foyet" offered Hotchner a deal to stop hunting him and he would stop the killings. Police captured him, but he escaped at the end of the episode. He is the one at the end of the seasons final episode, (4-26), that said "you should have taken the deal" and then shot Hotchner. Not sure if he lives or dies or is just written out of the show.
