PCH Answer: Venezuela
what was the first us country to receive foregin aid In response to the Venezuela earthquake of 26 March 1812, the Congress of the USA decreed unanimously, in what was its fi…rst foreign aid bill, the sending of five ships loaded with flour to the coasts of Venezuela to be distributed among the most indigent of its inhabitants. According to Alexander von Humboldt, they were received with the warmest gratitude. However the royalists got hold of the vessels, seized over 3,000 barrels of the flour Congress had sent, and when the vessels were returned the US authorities found that they had been so looted and damaged as to be of little value anymore. The relief mission was undertaken for more than purely humanitarian motives: the USA, aware of the ongoing struggles against the Spanish colonial regime, wished to foster ties with the revolutionary Bolivarian regime in Venezuela. The House did not support a simultaneous proposal to send relief to the Canary Islands where a locust plague had caused famine, as there national interest was not involved.
Includes military assistance, loans, and technical assistance.
the us giver forein aid for multople reasons. 1) Poor countries need aid, people with no food, nor reacources need help. 2) Strategically, giving aid to specific countries… is a good way to create, increase, or damage relations with specific nations. I 3) Countries ( not always poor ones) that have simmilar traits to the U.S, that are threatened are given aid. For example Taiwan. Taiwan in the eyes of most nations a sovern country. And holds a democracy. China views it as none existent. And whises to control it. China has major human rights issues and treat's it's people like crap. So America sends Taiwan aid, and sol them 6.4 billion dollars in weapons this year. It not only is protectin the taiwanese, but stopping communists china's expansion.
The Domino Theory was the thought that if a country fell to Communism other countries would as well. Just like dominoes one after the other they fall.
The U.S. should not give foreign aid. When we attacked Hiroshima what did we do next? We rebuilt them, why? To allow them to attack us again of course. India is its own countr…y, why send so much money to a foreign place that doesn't seem to get any better, when the streets and slums of the U.S. could use the money better?
Its has been for over 41 years.
Number one is Israel, mostly militarily. Second is Egypt, which is pretty much for what ever Egypt wants to use it for, and it is basically a bribe or " payment" to Egypt for …helping keep stability in the middle Egypt, by keeping a hostile policy towards radical jihadists, and being the only Arab nation to have their leader fly to Israel, in the attempt to increase peaceful relations. That president was later assassinated in his own Egypt by a terrorist group. Before Marabak was appointed to the position by the military. America giver aid to the afghan, and Iraqi gov. They train the help train the Philippines armed forces, and give aid to many countries, that either are a democracy showing parallels to the U.S's views. Or nations that are looked at strategically by the state department. Believe it or not but the U.S gave a lot of money before North Korea became Nuclear armed, to " aid the people" but the gov of North Korea ended up using it to create it's nuclear weapon. And soley because of that, when ever North Korea pulls of a violent action, the South is very careful, and to my knowledge never reacts, in the fear of the firearm/artillery fight leading to nuclear war. In conclusion, the US gives aid TO A LOT OF COUNTRIES.
Answer 1 Ever since WWII the U.S. has made a special point of extending it's umbrella of protection to Israel with anyone and everyone being "on notice" that Israel will recei…ve U.S. support up to and including intervention if necessary. Israel is also considered a U.S. "client state" But many sense that Israel acts on U.S. interests in many cases. Some also believe that when Israel survival interests and U.S. policy coincide, things happen; Israeli bombing of nuclear construction in Syria, and in Iraq some time ago. Similarly, if UN and U.S. can't get Iran "on board" with nuclear nonproliferation policies, you can probably expect Israel to take out Iranian nuclear sites, alone or in concert with U.S. Answer 2 The United States supports Israel, Egypt, and Palestine. The United States is also prepared to support and aide any Arab country (like Egypt) that is willing to trade violence and antagonism for peace. The United States support for the State of Israel is the strongest of the three comes from a variety of sources. Israel has cooperated with the United States on diplomatic issues, military and intelligence exchanges, large amounts of trade, and significant technological investment. In addition there a numerous Americans who support the State of Israel because of religious convictions on top of the already-listed reasons. Israel and the United States started on friendly terms with the United States approving the 1947 Partition Plan. However, until the Six-Day War of 1967, the United States did not see Israel as a country that would exist in the long-term because of Arab belligerence against the State. After Israel's stunning victory in that war, the United States became Israel's primary Western Ally and began to trade technologies, both civilian and military, with Israel. The United States government, therefore takes a pro-Israel stance in international politics and is often seen as Israel's backer. As a result, the United States opinion on the conflict is often harsher on Palestinian Terrorism than the Israeli Occupation.
Military and Economic Aid.

Good Question. The purpose of US foreign Aid is to help people in a worse condition than ourselves due to natural disasters, genocide, or unruly governments. If you mean for…eign Aid as in disaster relief, then it is simply to help needy people. But if you mean the wars on terrorism or the occupations of other countries, then it is the US fighting to defend itself, and in turn helping the citizens of other countries by establishing democracies and dismantling tyrannical rulers.
