Many big cruise liner such as Queen Elizabeth the second stop off at Southampton as one of their main ports and some of the biggest ships in the world land at Southampton, this is good for Southampton's economy because a lot of tourism is created from the big ships entering the port and Southampton also makes money from letting the ships land in their docks.
