Who told you that? If that's the case, then the Spanish-American War of 1898, WWI (1914-1918), and WWII (for the US 1941-1945) must also be similar to the wars of today. Since they all, including the Korean War (1950-1953), were fought BETWEEN nations (countries).
So...what nations are warring with other nations today?
Answer: NONE
The US, nor Britain, nor France, nor anybody is at war with any nation today. Insurgents represent no country; they have no air force, no navy, no standing army, no marine corps, no capital (if they did they'd been defeated by now), no government.
Both wars were fought against communism.
The Korean War
The Cold War resulted in the Korean War and the Vietnam War.
are you serious? all wars hurt everyone always! its still having an impact today.
Korean War & Vietnam War.
Both wars were fought during the cold war against communist aggression. The communists lost the Korean War but won the Vietnam War. Another words the Republic of South Korea exists today; the Republic of South Vietnam does not.
