It was the ship that was deemed unsinkable. And on one dreary night it did in fact sink after being hit by the ice berg. That shows us nothing is impossible nor indestructible.

It was also because many people that were originally coming to visit or immigrate to America died when that ship sank. It also happened quite close to the American shore too, even if it was off the coast of Canada.
