Sharks have been feared one because of the movie "Jaws," and two because humans were just naturally scared of them.
Well in a way it's pretty obvious their rows and rows of razer sharp blood covered teeth, their beedy eyes, their ability to smell blood and food from hundreds of miles away, their iron frame, most of the time it's impossible to fight one off. Most of the fear is contributed to the fact that you can't fight a shark unless underwater and it's harder to see and move your limbs in that state theres a way to escape if you punch them fiercly on the nose but the fact that its near impossible to escape a shark attack is usually the reason. Jaws is definitely a contributor though, a huge one.
They are not. The only reason they attack is:
1) They mistake you for pray.
2) They think you might hurt, so they naturally defends themselves.
its because all the other animals are to fast so they eat human instaed if that doesnt answer ur question then it aint mah folt

Scarecrow, scorpion, shark, skunk, snake, snow leopard and stingray are scary things. They begin with S.
Whether you find The Shallows scary depends a lot on how you react to suspense and blood. There is a shark that attacks people and some of them get killed. The protagonist is stranded off shore and is bleeding since she has already been bitten by the shark.
