Nigeria desperately needs guidance and counseling because their society and economy is not stable. They have become used to the numerous coups and dictators that have taken over in the past, which have created an authoritative political culture. In their eyes, they probably think corruption is the norm. Although they have made some improvements, they are still considered a Third World country. However, with assistance, they can move onto a path of prosperity. If someone helped Nigeria profit from their abundant Natural Resources and distributed the wealth back to the people, they would have a higher standard of living. In order to rise above the poverty and disease they have dealt with for so long, a powerful outside power needs to help them get on their feet and push them in the right direction.
