There is a short Drain tube going through the firewall from the inside a/c box. That is where all the water from the cooled air drains out of the system. On the firewall side of the tube, there is supposed to be a right angle little rubber fitting that directs the flow downwards. It also keeps air from the engine compartment from blowing directly into the tube causing a reverse air flow. The small drain tube does NOT protrude completely through the steel part of the firewall and without this right angle piece of rubber fitting the drain water soaks inside the passenger compartment from the metal firewall through eventually into the carpet. This little rubber right angle tube is actually found on all kinds of models of vehicles and is generally available in most junk yards and is left behind when vehicles are stripped. Most yards won't even know what you're talking about either. Just get them to let you walk around to find one. It's on the passenger side of the vehicle behind the engine.
had new blower motor installed in my 2006 gmc now waater is leaking inside car when ac is on
Typically, if your car is leaking water it has to do with the air conditioning system. This simply usually means the condensation is leaking from the AC.
No. You may be leaking engine coolant from the heater core or leaking refrigerant oil from the AC evaporator.
Unit needs to be sloping outside and make sure the drain hole on the outside is not plugged up.
because your ovberflow or condenture tube is clogged remove it and just blow it out with air
If it is leaking on the passenger side I would agree with them; the drian hose could be opened up with caompressed air.Good luck.
Perhaps water pump is leaking?
There is a drain on the outside firewall that is clogged.
ac or exhuast
AC condensation drain.
look outside where the drain for the ac is and run a coat janger in there to clean it out.
could be the ice inside it melting
