I also have a 2001 Venture and have had this same problem for years. It is most apparent when the outside temperature is high, and the tank has recently been filled. It seems to be coming from under the vehicle and I was wondering if it is some sort of valve that opens to vent and release pressure. If anyone has any other info please post. Hey, I had the gas smell for a while and it was until I checked the fuel lines coming from the tank along the frame I notice a wet spot close to the fuel filter. The problem in my 2000 Ventura was the Fuel filter conections, I replace the fuel filter and problem solved. (fuel filter about $ 14.00 1/2 hour charged in a shop $30.00-$40.00) estimated cost.
I had this problem with my '98 Venture. If you look above the left rear wheel where the gas filler line comes down toward the tank you'll see that all of the road grit gets sprayed up onto the rubber fuel pipe, and eventually abrades it away, causing not only fumes to be apparent, but fuel spills when you're at the gas station, the MIL lamp to come on etc.Pretty simple fix, even if they have to drop the tank to replace the fuel hose. The mechanic also put some aluminum sheet around the rubber tank line for me to protect it in the future.
I think it might but only if it were in a sealed container where fumes could be very highly concentrated. outside in a ventilated area, it would probably just avoid them
It would help if you asked a question or described symptoms instead of being so vague that changing the tire might be the correct answer.
if you mean the fumes of it then not much if not inhaled for too long of a time if you did inhale the fumes then go outside and breath deeply for a minute or two. also your head might hurt for a few minutes
Typically tools, such as wrenches and screwdrivers, are very helpful in this procedure. That's about the extent of my knowledge on the subject. You might consider reading the owner's manual.
bad coolant level sensor in either side or bottom of plasit coolant resivoir,
How do you open and close the back window of a 2000 Chevrolet venture mini-van? i really do not know I am very sorry ser/ma'm but i think it might be by the button on the top of the vhicle that has a photogragh of the mini-van, and has the back side window colored in white and the rest of the mini-van is colored in black. written by: Mrs.clare
Yes, skunk fumes are hazardous. If they, the skunks, spary you, if you smelt it, it is possible you might faint. Another reason is if the spray goes in your eyes, you might be possibly blind for enternity until it heals.
no it is not because the fumes might get to there heads and make them dosey
There are many ways one might purchase a 1940 Chevrolet. In addition to a local Chevrolet dealership, one might also check the local paper's classifieds section.
You can take a blow dryer and heat it up, real hot. It might come loose. Most of the time you have to brake it up in piecess to get it out.
Could be a head gasket problem. Might want to try a compression check to see what that tells ya.
