Why parents-siblings often feels insecure of son-brother's wife but do not feel of daughter-sister's husband?

Some women try to force their way into the family if it is not open and going out of their way to include her. Some women will expect to be treated like the favorite daughter of her in-laws, and call them mom and dad before a man will with his in-laws. The women in the family see this as being false and very arrogant. If that son or brother stops coming around as often then, they feel she is controlling him and pulling him away from the family because she is not being excepted in the capacity that she wants.
On the other hand men seem to stay back and ease into the family and don't seem to have any expectations of the family at all. He feels he is an addition to the family and that only time can make him part of the family. Usually the only time he will inject himself into any family politics for the first few years is if his wife is being yelled at or mistreated and he is standing there when it happens.
Women seem to jump right in to the discussions and voice her opinions within just a few weeks of marriage if she hadn't started before. That makes the other people feel like she is speaking out of turn and they feel like if she is talking about and forming open opinions of other family members so soon that she is probably talking about them to other people as well.
