Infants can understand language before their vocal apparatus develops sufficiently to allow them to speak. Sign language can be taught as early as three months and with a few simple signs, a baby's life can be less stressful because they will be able to communicate many of their basic needs with ease; like I want milk, I need my diaper changed, I love you, I want more, etc.
Although it can be 'taught' to your baby at 3 months of age, you should not expect your baby to sign back to you until she or he is at least 8 months old.
okay, that's a good question. if you are signing in the first place you should know how to finger spell so just ask "how to you say" in sign language and then finger spell the word you are asking about.
Sign Language is a hand motion for people who are deaf and have lost their voice. You should learn sign language if you know someone that is deaf or lost their voice.Sign language is still used, and speechless and deaf people use it to communicate.
