You should save energy because it is destroying the earth. We only have one planet earth. Once it's gone, we cannot get it back. Energy is most commonly derrived from coal, oil, fossil fuels (like gas), and nuclear power. To obtain energy from all of these sources, there is waste and gases produced. Using fossil fuesl pollutes the environment. Once these resources run out, there will nto be any more for millions of years, as they take time to form within the ground. Wasting energy wastes these finite resources and hurts the environment and the earth.
