Because animals get killed when trees are bulldozed or cut down and the trees give us oxygen to live.
if you mean WHY should you save the rainforest, then because just think..... if you were a helpless animal in the rainforest and one day you saw all the trees falling on you because some man wanted to have some nice wood to cut down, how would you feel?
Beats me. I can't think of a single good reason. There's a lot of valuable timber that could be harvested for profit by the impoverished people of South America, and once it's cleared they could use the land for farming. It's not like the rainforest provides any environmental benefits. Contrary to popular belief, old, unmanaged forests like the rainforest do not, in net terms, remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. Sure, individual trees take up carbon dioxide, when they are alive. But when they die, they rot, and when they rot, they release all that carbon dioxide right back into the atmosphere. So, over time, the net carbon sequestration is exactly zero. If, instead of letting the trees die and rot, we harvested those trees, and used the timber in construction, or furniture, then the carbon dioxide would be locked away, out of the atmosphere, indefinitely.

Because the rain forest is a beautiful natural place of calmness and happiness. The rain forests gives us a lot of things such as ;

  • Drugs and medicines
  • New lives and cultures to the world
  • Great stories from the tribes that live in the rain forest
  • New types of animals and insects
  • The largest population of trees
  • And many, many more.......

There are some people in the world that live in the rain forest and who would want to disrupt there lives and cultures. No one! We are living in peace cutting down the rain forest while there lives are getting destroyed. That is not how it works.

Don't save the rain forest for your own good save it for others like the animals, insects and trees and families.

It does not take much to make a difference.
