I could not get rid of it myself for some time too. It's hard to believe it is free because it works far better than every paid one I have used. You will be very happy with it!. They added anti-spyware and updated the interface in the 8.0 edition. They also added a link scanner which works in your Internet browser which identifies sites that are known to be or are dangerous and displays it beside the links.
