It was rejected because:
1. According to classical theory, electrons being the charged particles should releas or emit energy countinously and they should ultimately fall into the nucleus.
2. If the electrons emit energy countinously, they should form a countinous spectrum but in fact, line spectrum was observed.
Dalton's atomic theory was difficult for other scientists to accept because the atom was not a widely accepted concept yet. The fact that each elements could be classified by their relative weights using these building blocks called atoms seemed outlandish to some. Dalton was also criticized as relying on his head and not empiricism.
John Dalton's atomic model was not rejected, it was modified when new data indicated that changes were needed. That is how a theory works. It is not completely rejected, but is tweaked when new data indicates that it is needed.
John Dalton's atomic theory was rejected because so many similar ideas of atoms had been proposed before. Dalton also liked to work alone and was known to rely only on his own verifications.
because his elements were not proved. His ideas were abstract for that day and age.
Rutherford's model could not explain why the helium, which was known to contain two protons and two electrons was four times heavier rather that just two times heavier.
.
all atoms of the same elements have identical weight
It was not accepted because there were heterogeneous mixtures in the atoms therefore causing them to be different.
protons, neutrons and electrons are the sub atomic particles
JJ Thomson's discovery of electrons indicated that atoms were not indivisible.
How can an STM help prove Daltons theory
John Dalton is best known for work on atomic theory. While his models were very similar to the speculation of the Greeks made centuries before, his theory differentiated in the idea that chemical combination takes place between particles of different weights.
Thomson's experiments with cathode ray tubes helped him to discover the electron (which Dalton did not know about). Dalton thought that atoms were in.

A Dalton's model of atom doesn't exist. Dalton principles are not in agreement with the discovery of isotopes and nonstoichiometric compounds.
what is john daltons scientific attitude
Thomsons model (plum pudding model of negatively charged particles in a positive soup) differed from Daltons model. Dalton hypothesised that atoms were indivisible, the word atom comes from the Greek atomos cannot be cut)
he worked at the circus as a proffesional clown
JJ Thomson's discovery of electrons indicated that atoms were not indivisible.
