It taught young children that the discrimination of others is good, and that Hitler was doing the right thing. They were being told that some bad things were actually good, and to only trust Hitler, even above their parents.

Hilter youth was bad in the eyes of the world except Germany. Basically Hilter took in young boys and made them into child soldiers, having them being young children many had died.

Make sure you check a library if you want to know more! Theres lots of books on World War II and the Holocaust.

How did the Hitler youth movement attemp to control the youth of Germany?

Hitler wanted to control theyouth of Germany because then he was in control of the next generation. He set up clubs for the kids that were fun so they would think joining 'Hitlers Youth' was cool and enjoyable. Hitlers rules were if kids heard their parents talking about anything political or against his rules they were to report this to their teachers and the teachers would report it to the Nazi's who would lock up or punish the parents in other ways. The kids would do this because they got praised by their teachers and the Nazis. Hitler wanted to control the youth so even if the adults didn't like Hitlers rules, he still controlled the next generation. Hitler even changed school subjects. eg. ALL kids had to do p.e so they got fit and tough and strong. Kids were always taught to do things adults did. eg. girls were taught to cook and clean and do medical stuff like nurses would etc and boys would be taught to be tough and not care about other peoples rights and they would be told they had to serve their country in wars when they were older. so yeah

Should I Send My Child to A Youth Group or Camp?

Many parents have realistic fears about sending their child to a youth group or camp. Is there not reason to worry when allowing a child or teenager to spend extended amounts of time in the presence of other young people? Much trouble could ensue! Injuries could occur! Bad habits could be learned! The idea of a youth group, and especially a camp, can be very daunting for many parents. However, for the young person, a youth group or camp experience can be one of the best in their life. Life lessons can be learned. Friendships can be made. Good habits can be nurtured. Memories can be created. For many young people, experiences in youth groups or at camps can completely alter their lives. If you are considering allowing your child to attend a youth group or camp, you’ll want to be confident about the atmosphere. What kinds of things should you look for? What questions should you be asking? What are your requirements as a responsible parent before allowing your child to attend? Youth Group: 1) Meet the youth leader (and wife, if applicable). Ask questions about the structure, the rules, and the routines of the group. Ask about how certain situations might be handled. Ask about the youth leader’s experience should you feel so inclined. 2) Meet and talk with assistant leaders. Get to know them. What do they like to do? What kind of influence do they appear to have? Do the young people respect them? 3) Attend the youth group with your child. You may do this for as many weeks as you feel necessary. You can talk to the leaders all day, but without actually attending the group, you may never get a full idea of what it’s like. Camp: 1) Read. Gather all of the information. Where? When? How much? Why? What will be happening during the camp? 2) Meet and talk with leaders. Same as above. Know who will be leading your child. Are they responsible? Are they respectable? Are they trustworthy? In general, just feel free to ask questions. Any good youth group or camp should be willing to answer enough questions to give you, as the parent, confidence. If they can’t, it may not be a good place for your child to be.
