Why was the TV show ALF discontinued after Season 4?
Apparently there originally was going to be a fifth season as fans said the final episode ended with "To Be Continued" when it first premiered- but websites said the actors were starting to feel like they had enough with everything already and would go crazy if they had to do one more season after that.

There really isn't an average. Networks probably want 5 seasons since then they can sell it intosyndication and make more money from the show but some shows last1, some 7, some 27, some 47. Someone could add up all the currently running shows and come upwith an average but that's a LOT of data to …accumulate whenyou consider how many shows are currently running in the U.S., notto mention world wide. On May 7, 2007, ABC Entertainment President Stephen McPherson announced that Lost will end during the 2009-2010 season with a "highly anticipated and shocking finale. We felt that this was the only way to give Lost a proper creative conclusion," McPherson said. Beginning with the 2007-2008 televisio…n season, the final 48 episodes of Lost would have been aired as three seasons with 16 episodes each, with Lost concluding in its sixth season. Due to the writers strike, the fourth season featured 14 episodes, and Seasons 5 and 6 will have 17 episodes each. Lindelof stated that Lost would return in January 2009 for a fifth season.. - WikiPedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LOST). They have not determined a specific date yet as of today, 10.26.08. (MORE)

Mihaly 'Michu' Meszaros played the character when he was walking. Paul Fusco did the voice to him.
There are 8 seasons in the TV series Monk ... if you've never heard of this show then you should watch it ... it is VERY good =)
The character of ALF was portrayed by a live-hand puppet operatedprimarily by Paul Fusco, the main puppeteer and voice of thecharacter.. Although he was the principal puppeteer, Alf's movements wereaccomplished by combining the efforts of 3 individuals. . Paul used one hand to control ALF's mout…h while the other wasfree to control one of the puppet's arms. A second puppeteer, namedLisa Buckley, remained under the stage (there were numerous trapdoors built all over the set) and operated the other arm. A thirdperson named Bob Fappiano, was in charge of controlling ALF'sfacial and ear movements via a radio controller. Working together,Alf was able to move 'effortlessly'. On the rare occasion an action scene had to take place i.e,running, falling and jumping, a dwarf actor named Michu Meszaroswould shoot the scenes wearing an ALF costume. (MORE)

YES! The Game will be returning for an all new Season. BET has picked up The Game for Season 4.
No. Although I truly adore this show... no. I asked Melissa Altro the voice of Paige on Grossology and she said that she already knows that there would not be a Grossology Season 3. Sorry...
The original Twilight Zone was canceled in January 1964. CBS claimed it was spending too much money and didn't get high enough ratings. ABC expressed some interest in picking it up, but wanted another title. Rod Serling said no.
A suburb of Los Angeles, California I disagree - In the first episode, when alf lands, the air force officials say they are stationed at Edwards Air Force Base. located near Mojave, ca. Later in the serious, they state that they live on the outskirts of Bakersfield.
It can vary. Most broadcast network shows have 22 episodes, though there is a trend to do some with only 10-13. "Sleepy Hollow" is an example. Most cable television series do 10-13 episodes.
Only Optimus Prime is in all four seasons of G1, and only barely. He's only actually in the last five episodes. He & his crew (Prowl, Jazz, Cliffjumper, Bumblebee, Sideswipe, Sunstreaker, Hound, Huffer, Brawn, & Ratchet) are the original Autobots. By Season 3 they've got so many, not all of them a…ctually have names. (MORE)

Websites say he wanted to be promoted to Executive Producer- but the studio would not allow it because they thought he did not have enough experience. So he decided to leave as a result- but the studio decided his brother Charlie O'Connell had to go out along with him as well since he was the only r…eason his brother had been hired to appear on the show. The main plotline is them trying to get off the island, or deciding whether or not to get off the island. As you know, each episode has a "flashback" but here we have a "flashforward." According to websites- NBC said it started getting too expensive to continue because the final season cost the studio lots of money on the scenes where the car went into "Super Pursuit Mode".
It is believed the ratings had dropped real bad and that was the reason why there was not a fifth season after one had been planned.
It was already decided the show would be cancelled because the ratings had dropped- but it stopped mid-season after Victor French got real sick and eventually passed away. Michael Landon had been asked to finish the season without him- but he ordered the studio to instantly cancel the show instead.
The ratings went down during the last season causing it to be only 13 episodes.
Because the producers just thought it was time for it to come to an end after seven great seasons- Richard Dean Anderson and some of his co-stars even cried after being announced the news of that.
Because Universal had decided it had run long enough. The series finale was originally planned as an episode setting up a spin-off- but it was never picked up and that was where the series actually ended.
Probably because Adrian Paul decided he was tired of it and ready to move on to other things.
Websites say because the show was getting too expensive to produce more episodes. Other reasons are the fans were very upset with all the changes, and the writers decided to cancel the show and stop the complaints. They fired John Rhys Davies for apparently making a joke about one of the producer's …wives, Sabrina Lloyd quit to act or do something else, plus she fought with Kari Wuhrer and they decided to keep Kari over her, Charlie O'Connel was hired only because of Jerry O'Connel, who left after they 1. refused to promote him to executive producer, and 2. they fired the others, so he left, causing Charlie to be fired along with him... They replaced both of them in the S5 premiere, and did not show the faces of the other actors, who had very different voices, making it obvious enough they were not the O'Connel's. After S5 had been going, fans got very upset, even sending death threats and hate mail (apparently) so they made the final episode with them as a show, and signs with real fan reactions, such as "BRING WADE BACK" "WHERE ARE QUINN AND COLIN" and the whole "BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND: PROFESSOR ARTURO" thing the sliders saw on TV... The writers were fed up, had a low budget, and screwed the fans over by cancelling SLIDERS. Although the reactions were bad, Arturo dying added Maggie, who was another great character, Wade being captured added Colin, who was also great, and Quinn being fused added Mallory, and Colin being unstuck added Diana... The initial premise of S5 was to find a way to get Quinn out of Mallory, and find and stabilize Colin, once the fans figured out why the O'Connel's were gone, they changed the premise to getting home, with their original intention supposedly impossible. The show went downward, but also added more great storylines and characters to compensate. And the best part is that the show was epic, and will always be epic, since fans continued it through fanfictions, etc. (MORE)
A fifth season might have been planned- but websites said that the actors realized their wardrobes at the studio were being carried off the sets meaning the series was no longer intended to have more episodes made.
Probably because the ratings had dropped causing it to be cancelled as a result. There is a series finale that answers a question the fans had during the entire run of the show- but the producers were not intending the series to actually end there.
It is believed that the ratings had dropped real low as a result of Linda Hamilton leaving the show causing fans to lose interest- 13 episodes without her had been filmed and the studio was only going to make more after that if the show continued being as successful as it had been when she was on it…. Does Season 4 of the old TV show ALF on DVD have the final episode Consider Me Gone as the last episode in the set as some of them were shown out of order?
The listing of episodes inside the set shows it as the last episode on the last disc.
Probably because the production studio was not concerned about them being in the correct order.
Probably not- they were possibly just going to have one more episode happen to resolve the problem at the end of the last one. But it never got made and that just happened to be how everything ended.
Probably because the production studio thought they could save money not putting them on the discs.
Meet the Press has been airing since 1947 & continues to air to this day.
Season 2's premiere date has not even been released yet, we just know that it will air in September 2010. Season 3, which has been confirmed, will obviously likely air in Fall 2011. Although Season 4 has yet to be confirmed, based on the show's popularity it is probable, and I would guess it will ai…r Fall 2012. . Well due to the shows popularity there probably will be a season 4 but maybe because we all can admit things on glee are happening too fast and the creator has said he is planning to graduate the characters in season 3 so if they graduate maybe the show is gone but we have to wait and see. Yes, it is said to be shown in the UK in 2012 due to the next series of Doctor Who being shown in its place
No, hopefully it's not, I've seen a confirmation that it will air in 2011 but we don't no when
It varies. Broadcast networks usually do 22 episodes. Cable channels do 10 or 13. Sometimes doing fewer episodes enables the producers to hire a bigger name actor. Other times it's just a budget issue.
The soundtarck bit was i guess only fr the episode....but guys lsted to Dont let me fal - B.O.B

The tv show "Firefly" only had one season on FOX before it was cancelled, but they made the movie Serenity to help wrap up storylines.
Three. The first season is ten episodes while seasons two and three are a full 24 episodes each.
This question cannot be answered the way it is written. Please be more specific. Please rephrase and resubmit your question so it can be answered. Season 4 of what show?.
There isn't a single answer for this question. It depends on the season & frankly if you're referring to simply the network programming or including cable & syndicated shows as well. Obviously including cable & syndicated the number would be much greater. Just looking at the networks, ABC, NBC, CBS…, FOX & CW, . For the 2012-2013 TV season there are 132 shows. . For the 2011-2012 TV season there were 115 shows. . For the 2010-2011 TV season there were 136 shows. I'm not going to count anymore but I found this information on Wikipedia if you want to peruse the remaining TV seasons. (MORE)

Television shows can last for anywhere from one to ten seasons. Itis rare for television shows to have more than ten seasons, even ifit is a very popular series. Although, there have been some showslasting longer than ten seasons. On average shows run for aboutfour to six seasons.
