The movie originally called for a kissing scene. There were rumors that there was a kiss on the cheek, but they took it out. There are also rumors that Demi didn't want to kiss Joe, so they took that part out of the script.

∙ 14y agoYes they do. It's been built up so that they do it in the second movie not the first, as they did in High School Musical. This is from an interview with Demi Lovato: Q How did you get ready for your on-screen kiss with Joe? A “I think we both popped a breath mint!”

∙ 12y agoThere is no kissing scene in Camp Rock. If you get the DVD of the movie, the movie will be the same, as in there will not be a kissing scene. According to J-14 Magazine, Camp Rock star Demi Lovato was glad there was not a kissing scene in the movie.
Actually there was a kiss at the end of We Rock but Joe kissed Demi on the cheek that's all but its not in the movie.
