So they could take their money and valuables to pay for their war. They were attempting to take over Europe. Many of the Aryans of Germany and Austria believed that they would be able to manage Europe far better than the mixed races that were running Europe at the time.

By selecting a class of people who were somewhat isolated from normal society, the Aryans were able to provide an excuse for destroying people who were "different" and at the same time create a common prejudice that has continued among the intellectually challenged to this day. Although many today claim to be "Aryan", or "Neo-Nazi", they usually have no idea of what it's about. Most who subscribe to that form of racism are either quite intellectually inferior or are borderline sociopaths.

It's a little remembered fact that "NAZI" is a German acronym for National Socialists Workers Party. NAZI's were attempting to engineer society through socialism and genocide.

Hitler had a whole book called Mein Kampf that explained exactly why he killed people. The really short abridged version is that he felt that these people were a step backwards in evolution, therefore, they had to be killed. Also, he didnt like morality and he claimed that the Jews brought morality into the world, which he felt should be destroyed.

The proof that it wasn't just political stuff, was during the end of the war he diverted valuable resources to killing Jews, even though they were badly needed at the war front. Historians speculate that if he wouldn't have spent so many resources killing Jews then he would have won the war.

Hitler never mentioned exterminating Jews in any of his writings> Prior to the start of the war, the very thought of murdering 10,000,000 human beings would have been impossible from a moral and logistical standpoint. Germany's plan was to take all possessions and then move the Jews to reservations. This posed a problem, where to send them and how to feed them. The solution was to eliminate them, through direct (mass shootings) and indirect (starvation and decease ) murder. This was done with the help non Jews in countries like Romania, Hungary and Poland.

By 1941 the plan to exterminate all Jews in Europe was in full motion. To expedite this was the plan to build killing centers in Poland where the largest Jewish population was. Then a railway system to bring the Jews from all over occupied territories to be gassed and poisoned in mass. By the end of 1942 this plan was brought to the attention of the allies, but not believed to be true. There was no attempt made by the US or Britain to directly to stop this, it was thought that the best chance the Jews had way was to win the war. The Russians had the best chance to stop or slow the murder down by advancing more quickly through eastern Europe while the Germans were busy fighting the allies in the west. But they stopped within miles of many of these killing centers. There is no doubt that Hitler welcomed and encouraged the plan to murder all Jews in his reach, he felt the Jews were a mortal threat not only to Germany but to all of mankind. Although this was not the reason he started ww2, and over 50 million lives were lost in ww2, the attempt to murder every Jew for no other reason than they belonged to a group of people of a certain ethnicity or religion, is unprecedented.

Adolf Hitler wanted to unite the German people in the persecution of scapegoats and minorities, thus avoiding close scrutiny and criticism of his policies. But more than this, it became a personal obsession on the part of Hitler himself.

He didn't believe that Jews were actually real people. He targeted Soviet civilians, Soviet prisoners of war, people with disabilities, homosexuals, Jehovah's Witnesses, and other political and religious opponents.

The Nazis killed the Jews because they needed someone to blame. Germany was going through a huge depression after WW1, worse than Americas or any of the other countries. This was because Germany was forced to pay repercussions, give away their land, and take the blame for WW1. So, circa WW2, Germany was going through a very rough time. Hitler wanted to win the people over and tell them that he could make things better for the German people. In order to make things better he needed to blame someone for Germany's hardships so he decided to target the Jews. The German people started to buy what he was saying about how it wasn't their fault that they were in a depression, it was the Jews. Thus, began the Nazi Party. Hope this helps!

The Nazis encouraged the German population to believe that a myriad of racial issues was ingrained in German Society by making it part of the national curriculum and teaching it to millions of German children. The Nazis proposed that the only way to improve Germany was to remove the "inferior races" entirely. There were two options for such a removal: exile or genocide. Since no country was willing to take these people en masse (and this includes the United States and United Kingdom due to prevailing stereotypes there) the Nazis made the executive decision to commit genocide to "save Germany".

The Nazis targeted people not of the Aryan race as well as Jewish people, so they killed people without blonde hair and blue eyes, and obviously people of the Jewish race.
