Bad valve seals. If it is a v-6 it may be sludged up. Check for unusually high oil usage and also check the oil fill cap for signs of sludge. Toyota changed my block free of charge when this happened to me.

What would cause Toyota Previa coolant loss?

Other than the obvious leaking hose, radiator, water pump or heater core, it could be internal to the engine. Mine was a leak in the head into one of the cylinders. It puffed white smoke when I first started the engine in the morning but would evaporate before I could check for a sweet smell caused by hot coolant. The engine had to be removed and a weld repair on the head fixed the problem.

Why would an otherwise perfectly running car smoke when started?

The valve guides and seals are worn allowing some oil to get past after sitting and into the firing chamber and causes smoke upon starts.

Did Bob Marley smoke before singing?

If by before singing, you mean before he started his professional singing career, then the answer is yes he did. As a Rastafarian, partaking in the herb of ganja was an integral part of Bob Marley's religion. If you are indeed curious as to whether he started smoking prior to the first time he ever sang even casually as a child, then I would imagine the answer would be no.

If you added oil to your 93 civic dx and smoke and oil started coming from the tailpipe what would you do?

Take it to a mechanic right away. The white smoke is from fluid mixing with the oil in the engine. Its probably the head gasket.
