A module controls electrical accessories that should be died when the car is off. Those items include the radio and power windows. The module in that era of Firebird was later redesigned. Replace that module with the newer version.

There are two buttons either side of the clock on the odometer. The buttons look like the one u use to reset mileage

nope, just radio buttons if you have that option like i do.
Push the buttons on the clock marked hours and minutes.
On the 2003 model SL, at the digital clock on the dashboard, you'll see a couple of little black buttons....those buttons control the clock. I believe you have to push both buttons at the same time to activate the settings.

The buttons on the lower left corner of the instrument panel adjust the brightness of the display in five steps; push the + or - buttons. The settings are independent for when the headlight switch is on and off.
The fuse box for BMW 530i is located in the glovebox/ compartment on the dashboard. Just open the passenger side dashboard and unscrew the two buttons on the top of the glovebox and the fusebox will pop down.
I hate to admit I searched this topic before noticing the "hr" and "mn" buttons on the bottom right of the stereo console (1998 Pontiac grand prix...stereo with equalizer built in). just press the buttons to adjust the time (with the stereo turned off).
if all buttons and lights went out on your climate control then either its not receiving proper power or ground, or the control panel assembly is faulty.
