Why you are using Android?

I'll say the reason why I use an Android device is because:

- Cheap (Android devices are available a lowered price point other than iOS devices )

- Limitless Boundaries with Android (Every Android device is different and you can customise your device just like the way you want not like the what vendors want to show others)

- Possess Open Source Architecture ( Can be used in all the devices other than smartphone like refrigerators,televisions etc...)

- Investing on Android means guaranteed return (You can't deny the fact that 85% of devices are powered by Android)

Well, Android was basically developed as an OS for digital camera but eventually its founders realised that the market with digital camera isn't that much big to bet on with and they have diverted all their attention towards making Android OS running forward for mobile devices. So, they have changed their motto to develop OS for mobile device.

One of the founders of Android OS, Andy Rubin, was involved in robotics as a hobby. He was even nicknamed "Android" by his coworkers during his time at Apple. So naturally as the company was established, the name they went with was Android.
