Almost certainly not. Hillary Clinton seems at this point to have the Democratic nomination sewed up. If something should happen to her, Bernie Sanders is still a very unlikely possibility. His views are too extreme for him to be elected and the Democrats want to win.
No, he probably will not. Of course, anything is possible, but his chances are very unlikely. I say that as someone who likes him and agrees with many of his views; but it is doubtful that the average voter would vote for a "socialist," given how that word has been demonized over the years; further, it is doubtful the Democratic party would want him as their nominee, just like the Republican Party would not want Donald Trump (not trying to equate the two-- just saying that both are perceived as people who would be good at stirring up the most activist voters, but would not be able to win a general election). That said, Mr. Sanders is raising many important issues and affecting the way other candidates, Hillary Clinton included, are campaigning.
